Lot 905: A Mid-20th-Century Queen Anne Revival Mahogany Occasional Table
A mid-20th-century mahogany occasional table designed in the Queen Anne revival style. The table features a shaped top with a moulded serpentine edge, often referred to as a pie-crust edge. The top surface is finished in a mahogany veneer. The piece is supported by four slender, out-swept legs of square section. These legs are joined by a conforming shaped undertier that mirrors the design of the tabletop. The construction is of mahogany with a warm brown finish. A temporary auction label is adhered to the top surface.
