Lot 906: A Heal's of London Russet Oak Three Drawer Chest
A mid-20th century oak chest of drawers by Heal’s of London, belonging to the Russet Oak range. The piece is constructed from oak, with the top and drawer fronts showcasing prominent medullary rays characteristic of quartersawn timber. The rectangular carcase contains three full-width drawers, each fitted with a pair of original matching horizontal wooden bridge handles. The chest is supported by four square block feet. The drawers feature standard box construction with light-coloured hardwood sides and plywood bases. A small blue adhesive label bearing the number 906 is present on the top right corner.
