Lot 936: Decca RP 2190 Portable Four-Speed Record Player
A Decca RP 2190 portable suitcase-style record player. The unit is housed in a composite case with a two-tone cream and brown textured vinyl covering, featuring a front-facing speaker grille and side-mounted metal latch. The internal turntable provides four speed settings at 16, 33, 45, and 78 RPM. Control is managed via two white plastic rotary knobs for volume/off and tone, and the unit is fitted with a dark grey plastic tonearm. A gold-tone label on the side panel identifies the manufacturer as Decca and the model as RP 2190. This British-made electronic item includes an attached power cable.
