Lot 944: English Yew Wood Georgian Style Dwarf Open Bookcase
An English yew wood dwarf open bookcase or low sideboard of Georgian design. The rectangular top features a cross-banded border and a moulded edge. The front is configured with two frieze drawers, each fitted with twin brass swan-neck handles on shaped backplates. Below the drawers are two open storage compartments separated by a central vertical partition. The left compartment contains a single adjustable shelf, while the right compartment features shelf support pins but is currently without a shelf. The piece is supported on a plain plinth base.
