Lot 1021: M. Walker and B.R., A Trio of Framed Artworks Including The little bowl
A collection of three framed works on paper featuring diverse subjects. The first work is a hand-executed drawing in ink and gouache on white wove paper depicting a traditional Celtic revival knotwork cross. The design features intricate interlocking bands of yellow, blue, red, and green within a circular border. This piece is inscribed with the initials B.R. to the right of the motif and is housed in a wide gilt-finished wooden frame with a cream-coloured mount. The second item is a limited edition print titled The little bowl by the artist M. Walker. The work depicts a floral still life featuring lilies and pansies in a blue and white porcelain vase. It is inscribed in pencil to the lower margin with the edition number 24/150 to the left, the title to the centre, and the signature M Walker to the right. The third piece is a framed botanical study, depicting an orchid-like flower, presented in a light gold-finished frame with a deep mount.
