This lot consists of two decorative items. The first is a clear glass paperweight dome containing an internal arrangement of three synthetic pink roses with green foliage, set upon a circular dark base. The second is an ornamental lamp with a stepped circular base made from polished and lacquered brass. The underside of the lamp base is lined with green felt and retains an original orange paper manufacturer label which reads: Bates Brass of Birmingham, QUALITY BRASS HAND POLISHED AND LACQUERED, MADE IN ENGLAND. The lamp includes a removable amber-tinted glass shade with a flared and ruffled rim, decorated with transfer-printed white and pink floral sprigs.
