A novelty ceramic storage jar modelled in the form of a seated pig. The piece is finished in a monochromatic glossy pink glaze, with the eyes and nostrils picked out in black. The head of the pig functions as a removable lid, allowing the item to be used as a biscuit or cookie jar. The pig is depicted in a stylised seated posture with rounded body contours and distinct folds at the base. The interior is fully glazed in a matching pink tone. No maker marks or factory stamps are visible on the piece.
