Lot 595: Two Royal Doulton Classic Pooh Glazed Porcelain Figurines with Original Boxes
This lot comprises two glazed porcelain figurines from the Royal Doulton Classic Pooh collection, each accompanied by its original cardboard presentation box. The first figurine depicts Winnie the Pooh seated on a green grass-moulded base, wearing a red cone-shaped party hat with a yellow pom-pom and a small red neck bow. The underside features a printed Royal Doulton backstamp identifying the piece as Pooh and Party Hat, model number WP 33, and is marked Made in England. The second figurine depicts Piglet dressed as a cowboy sheriff, wearing a large white hat and a blue waistcoat with a yellow star badge inscribed SHERIF. He is standing on a textured sandy-coloured base holding a coil of rope. The base is marked Made in Thailand and retains a manufacturer barcode label identifying the subject as Howdy Sheriff. Both pieces are finished in a high-gloss glaze.
