Lot 630: An Assortment of White Bisque Porcelain and Parian Style Items and a Decorative Model
A collection of white bisque porcelain and Parian style decorative items, together with a separate model. The collection includes a large classical figure of a maiden depicted in flowing draped robes, holding a water vessel upon her shoulder and standing on an integral circular base. A second, smaller figurine depicts a character, likely a flower seller or vendor, supporting a basket upon their head; this piece features minor cold-painted black details to the shoes. Also included is a circular lidded trinket box, extensively decorated with relief-moulded foliate scrolls and floral motifs, topped with a bud-form finial. The box carries a paper label with the handwritten reference 466 71. Partially visible is a dark-coloured, textured decorative model of a boat or gondola featuring orange-red accents.
