A clear lead crystal paperweight of compressed spherical form manufactured by Compagnie des Cristalleries de Saint-Louis, France. The piece features a central teardrop-shaped core densely populated with suspended genuine gold leaf flakes within the crystal body. The upper surface is finished with a circular viewing lens. A circular etched mark is present around the lens reading ST LOUIS FRANCE 1990.
