Lot 696: The Leonardo Collection Cast Iron Cat and Mouse Doorstop
A hand-painted cast iron decorative doorstop from The Leonardo Collection, produced by Lesser and Pavey. The figurine features a tuxedo cat in a black and white finish standing over two cream-coloured milk churns, with a small black mouse positioned on the integral base. The scene is set upon a stepped rectangular base with a gilded top edge. The reverse of the doorstop is hollow-cast and retains its original circular gold-coloured foil label, which is printed with the words ENGLAND The Leonardo Collection in cursive script.
