Lot 697: South Arabia & Ajman 1967-72 Stamp Collection, Boots Luxury Album
An assortment of international postage stamps presented in a blue textured Boots Luxury Stamp Album. The album features gold-foil lettering and the Boots logo to the front cover, containing Stanley Gibbons Ring 22 album leaves (No. 3843). The collection includes a definitive series from Mahra State, South Arabia, dated 1967, depicting the territory’s flag. This series includes denominations of 5, 15, 20, 25, 50, 65, 100, 250, and 500 Fils, with many bearing circular date stamp cancellations. Additional pages contain a group of stamps from Ajman State and its Dependencies, including 1972 Olympics commemoratives and various animal subjects. The stamps are multi-coloured and perforated.
