Lot 790: A G-Plan Fresco Teak Highboard
A mid-century G-Plan Fresco teak highboard cabinet, dating from the 1960s. The unit features a rectangular teak veneer body with characteristic curved top corners on the side panels. The asymmetrical storage configuration includes two upper cupboard doors, two lower cupboard doors, and a central column of three drawers. Positioned to the left of the drawers is an open display compartment with a single fixed wooden shelf. The piece is fitted with integrated, carved wooden handles, featuring D-shaped pulls for the cupboards and long, recessed finger pulls for the drawers. The carcass is raised on a recessed base with four tapered round legs joined by a simple stretcher.
