Lot 824: A Gustavian style distressed painted pine three-drawer chest
A three-drawer chest of drawers constructed from softwood with a heavily distressed off-white painted finish. The piece features three full-width drawers, each fitted with two dark-patinated metal ring-pull handles and a central metal keyhole escutcheon. The carcass is detailed with reeded pilasters at the corners, topped with carved floral blocks. Matching reeded moulding is present on the front frame and the rounded edge of the top. The chest stands on short, turned feet. A small, illegible white paper label is affixed to the top left corner of the frame.
