A mid-century Ercol Windsor hoop-back spindle dining chair, constructed from solid wood with a light finish. The design features a steam-bent wooden hoop backrest containing six turned vertical spindles. The shaped solid wood seat is supported by four splayed and tapered legs, joined by a central H-stretcher. This piece displays the characteristic design elements of the Ercol Windsor range. A white temporary auction label numbered 13 is attached to the centre spindle and another numbered 999 is located on the edge of the seat.
