Lot 162: A Vintage LOMO-AVM Soviet PMZ-1 ZIS-11 Fire Truck
A vintage LOMO-AVM Soviet PMZ-1 ZIS-11 fire truck, modelled at 1/43 scale and presented in its original retail packaging. The model is of die-cast metal and plastic construction, finished in characteristic fire-engine red with black wheels and multiple hose reels with white-simulated hose. Documentation is provided in the form of a white paper technical data sheet printed in Russian with the title ПМЗ-1 (на базе ЗИС-11) Пожарный автомобиль, which bears the printed maker name «ЛОМО-АВМ» and a St. Petersburg contact address at ул. Чугунная д. 20. The country of manufacture is identified on the documentation as СССР. The original window box features a printed stylized oval logo containing the Cyrillic characters ЗИС on the upper left corner. Accessories included with the lot comprise two red ladders and a black suction hose, which are currently loose from the vehicle body as found. A white auction label is adhered to the window reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 162.
