A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear 1937 Cord Model 812 Supercharged Convertible Phaeton Sedan, finished in a vibrant red colour. The model features a contrasting white plastic removable roof, a tan plastic interior, and chrome-effect detailing to the bumpers, hubcaps, and prominent external exhaust pipes. It is fitted with free-rolling wheels and white-wall tyres. Produced by Lesney Products in England, the vehicle is constructed with a die-cast metal body and base. The underside of the red base is embossed with the following legible text: MATCHBOX, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR Y-18, 1937 CORD MODEL 812, SUPERCHARGED, CONVERTIBLE PHAETON SEDAN, MADE IN ENGLAND, and the copyright date © 1979 LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO. LTD. The model is presented within its original cream-coloured cardboard and cellophane window box, which bears the printed marks models of yesteryear, MATCHBOX, and Y-18 CORD 812.
