A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear die-cast 1927 Talbot Van, manufactured in England by Lesney Products & Co. Ltd. The model features a blue painted die-cast metal body paired with a white textured plastic roof and a black die-cast chassis. The sides of the van are finished with printed advertising livery for Ever Ready batteries, featuring a red and blue logo reading EVER READY and the slogan BATTERIES for life!. The vehicle is fitted with spoked wheels featuring silver-tone hubs and white-wall tyres, and the chassis includes a chrome-effect plastic radiator and headlights. The underside of the chassis is cast with the marks MADE IN ENGLAND, MATCHBOX, a copyright date of 1978, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, the model number Nº Y-5, and the vehicle name 1927 TALBOT VAN. The manufacturer name LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD is also present on the base.
