A vintage Dinky Toys Esso articulated tanker, featuring a white die-cast metal tractor unit and matching detachable semi-trailer. The model features a contrasting grey-painted front grille and silver-finished headlights to the cab. The tanker unit is decorated with a horizontal red band and two red and blue Esso oval decals on each flank. The underside of the trailer chassis bears embossed lettering reading ARTICULATED TANKER, DINKY TOYS, MECCANO LTD, and MADE IN ENGLAND. The vehicle is fitted with black rubber tyres on metal axles and incorporates a functional pivoting coupling mechanism.
