A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear die-cast 1912 Ford Model T tanker, finished in a distinctive green and black livery. The model features a die-cast metal body and chassis, complemented by a white plastic cab roof and a green plastic tank section. The tank is decorated with white decals reading ZEROLENE STANDARD OIL FOR MOTOR CARS, while the cab sides are marked No. 7 STANDARD OIL COMPANY and the roof edge repeats the company name. The vehicle is fitted with gold-tone spoked wheels and black rubber-effect tyres. The black-painted chassis base is embossed with the text MADE IN ENGLAND, MATCHBOX, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, 1912 FORD MODEL T, 1978, and LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD. It is accompanied by its original gold-toned window box marked Y-12 1912 FORD T, which currently bears a white adhesive label reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 208.
