Lot 1036: A Vintage Solid Pine Stool with Storage / Shelving Unit
A vintage solid pine stool with storage / shelving unit, constructed from knotty pine with a medium-toned finish. The unit features a thick, overhanging top surface above two solid side panels with recessed edges. The interior is fitted with a single fixed central shelf, providing two open storage compartments. The back of the unit is finished with vertical tongue-and-groove pine boarding. The construction emphasises the natural grain and prominent knots characteristic of the timber. A small blue rectangular adhesive auction lot sticker is present on one side panel, printed with the number 1036. No other manufacturer marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the surfaces shown.

Condition report:
The unit shows signs of general domestic wear consistent with age and use. There are visible surface scuffs and light scratches to the top and side panels (photo 1). Minor indentations and small pressure marks are present along the edges and flat surfaces of the pine (photo 1 and 2). The structure remains sound with the natural knots appearing intact.
