Lot 1038: A Collection of Vintage Am-Tech and Mixed Material DIY Tools
A collection of vintage Am-Tech and mixed material DIY tools, partially contained within a large black soft-sided insulated bag featuring a silver-toned reflective lining. The lot includes several items in their original packaging, notably a camping saw set with a chrome-plated frame and wooden handle, with a printed card backing reading ‘Am-Tech’ and ‘Camping Saw With 5 Blades’. Also present is a pack of five 100mm yellow foam rollers, with the packaging bearing a red ‘amtech.’ mark in lowercase lettering. Loose components include a large black-anodised metal flashlight with a knurled grip, a red plastic paint roller frame, a rectangular black plastic tray, a second wooden-handled hand tool, and a black metal plate with multiple rectangular adjustment slots. The tools are constructed from various materials including steel, wood, plastic, and foam.
Condition report:
The Am-Tech branded items remain in their original blister packs, although the card and plastic show signs of shelf wear, dust, and creasing (photo 2). The loose items, including the metal plate and flashlight, display surface scuffs, minor scratches, and oxidation consistent with previous use (photo 1). The insulated storage bag shows interior debris and signs of general use (photo 3). The electrical functionality of the flashlight is untested.
