Lot 1080: A Pair of Vintage Tripp Hard-shell Vanity Cases
A pair of vintage Tripp hard-shell vanity cases, each constructed from a textured dark purple plastic with a double-pull zip closure and a top carry handle. The interior of both cases is lined with a purple synthetic fabric decorated with a pattern of red polka dots and a small red bird motif, the trademark logo for Tripp luggage. The cases contain a collection of personal care and spa items, including Baylis & Harding products in scents such as Neroli, Pear & Gingerlily, and Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit. Further contents include a boxed The Body Shop White Musk set, a box of Dead Sea Natural Mineral Soap, and a Dove bottle. A packaged spa headband bears a white adhesive sticker reading £1.00. The case handles are fitted with a lot tag printed 1080.
Condition report:
The cases are in good functional condition with light signs of external handling and minor surface scuffing to the plastic shells (photo 1). The interior linings appear clean and free from staining (photo 1, 2). The majority of the included toiletries appear unused and remain in their original retail packaging or bottles (photo 2, 3).
