Lot 1079: A Trio of Vintage Painted Wooden Nesting Tables
A trio of vintage painted wooden nesting tables, featuring a graduated design allowing the set to store together for space-saving utility. Each table is constructed from solid wood with rectangular tops and square-section legs joined by rectangular stretchers in an H-frame configuration. The pieces are finished in a distressed manner with a palette of pale grey and light blue-grey paint. A white rectangular adhesive label is adhered to the top of the largest table, printed with the text quoted as ‘HCP Auctions South West’, ‘Lot 1079’, and ‘www.hcpauctions.co.uk’. No manufacturer marks or stamps are visible on any of the components.

Condition report:
The set is in a used state with visible signs of wear across all three items. The table tops exhibit scattered surface scratches, scuffs, and several small indentations (photo 1). There is additional wear, including minor dings and paint rubbing, to the edges of the tops and the vertical legs (photo 2). While the finish is intentionally distressed, there is further paint loss and rubbing that appears consistent with regular domestic use (photo 3). General surface dust and light debris are present throughout the wooden frames (photo 2).
