Lot 1095: A Vintage Late 20th-Century Pine Wall-Hanging Mirror / Display Shelf
A vintage late 20th-century pine wall-hanging mirror with an integral display shelf. The rectangular mirror plate is set within a moulded pine frame, accented by a single turned wooden knob at the top centre. The mirror frame is mounted onto a pine backboard that extends below the glass to form a narrow projecting shelf. The wood is finished in a warm honey-toned stain and clear lacquer, showing a natural grain throughout. Affixed to the mirror glass is a white adhesive auction label printed in black with HCP Auctions South West Lot 1095 and the website www.hcpauctions.net. Above this is a smaller torn white paper label with handwritten characters reading H 667 A. A business card for the auction house and a small battery-powered LED light bar are resting on the shelf, though the light is not an original part of the piece.

The item is in good functional condition. The pine frame and backboard exhibit minor surface scratches, small scuffs, and indentations consistent with domestic use and age (photo 1). The mirror plate appears clear with no significant signs of foxing or silvering loss. There is adhesive residue and tape present on the glass surface from the lotting process (photo 1).
