Lot 1096: A Collection of Six Vintage Factory-Sealed 1000-Piece Jigsaw Puzzles
A collection of six vintage factory-sealed 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles, featuring various artistic and popular culture themes. The group includes a Marvel Impossible Puzzle featuring a dense character collage, a Pomegranate Artpiece Puzzle titled The Ultimate Noahs Ark by artist Mike Wilks, and a Wheres Wally? puzzle titled Having a Ball in Gaye Paree. Further items include a commemorative puzzle for the engagement of HRH Prince William and Catherine Middleton, an English Heritage puzzle depicting Bolsover Castle with a red castle emblem, and a Gibsons puzzle titled I Love Pets by artist Mike Jupp. Each puzzle is constructed from printed cardboard and remains within its original retail packaging. Visible marks include a white adhesive label reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 1099 on the Marvel box, a barcode numbered 5 055374 034885 on the royal commemorative box, and a printed product code G514 on the Gibsons box. The Marvel box side also features a recycling symbol with the text FR FILM BAC DE TRI.
Condition report:
The puzzles all appear to be in factory-sealed condition with the original clear plastic shrink-wrap intact (photo 1). There is minor shelf wear visible to the box corners and edges (photo 2). A contemporary white auction house sticker is adhered to the front of the Marvel puzzle box (photo 1). No losses or tears are visible to the packaging.
