Lot 1110: A Collection of Vintage Lace Damask and Embroidered Household Textiles
A collection of vintage lace, damask, and embroidered household textiles, featuring a variety of decorative linens presented in three yellow plastic bags. The lot includes a white floral lace textile, a cream-coloured textile with a wide border of tan floral embroidery and cutwork, and a peach and gold-toned fabric with a woven damask pattern. Also visible within the bags are white linens and a textile with an orange and white checkered pattern. The materials appear to be a mixture of cotton and synthetic blends. A handwritten paper tag attached to the embroidered textile bears the numbers 75 x 90. The yellow plastic bags bear several adhesive auction labels, including one printed with the lot number 1110, a partially obscured sticker reading 715, and a smaller illegible white label.
Condition report:
The textiles are stored in yellow plastic bags and appear in used condition, showing significant folding and wrinkling throughout (photo 1). No major stains, tears, or significant fraying are visible on the exposed portions of the fabrics, although they have not been fully unpacked for a detailed individual inspection.
