Lot 18: Vintage Titan Magnesium Cased SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill / Breaker
A vintage Titan magnesium cased SDS Plus rotary hammer drill / breaker, designed for heavy-duty trade applications. The tool features a D-shaped main handle with a yellow trigger and a grey plastic motor housing bearing a manufacturer label reading TITAN. The gearbox housing is constructed from magnesium alloy and is embossed with the literal characters MAGNESIUM along the side. The unit is equipped with a rotary mode selector for drilling, hammer-drilling, and chiselling functions, along with a variable speed thumbwheel dial showing digits 5 and 6. It includes an adjustable auxiliary side handle with a textured grip. A white rectangular adhesive label is present on the housing reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 018 www.hcpauctions.net, and a smaller white tag on the upper handle bears the hand-written numerals 5677. The tool is fitted with a pointed steel chisel bit.
