A vintage cast iron and steel bench-mounted pillar drill, featuring a single-phase induction motor finished in grey paint. The machine is constructed with a heavy octagonal cast iron base supporting a cylindrical steel column, upon which a square slotted worktable is mounted. The head assembly includes a black-painted pulley cover and a side-mounted switch box containing a green start button marked with a white vertical line ‘|’ and a red stop button marked with a white circle ‘O’. The motor body bears a technical data label with printed characters reading ‘PHASE 1′, ’50 Hz’, and ‘INS CLASS E’, though voltage and wattage are not legible. The motor housing features two external capacitor covers. Part of the word ‘CAST’ is visible on the pulley cover, but a full manufacturer name is not identifiable.
