Lot 299: A Pair of Vintage True Temper Steel and Fiberglass Ground-Working Tools
A pair of vintage True Temper steel and fiberglass ground-working tools, comprising a clamshell-style post-hole digger and a four-pronged digging fork. The post-hole digger features twin yellow fiberglass handles with black rubberised hand grips and steel blades joined by a pivot mechanism. One handle bears a worn adhesive label with the readable characters TRUE TEMPER. The digging fork consists of a black-finished metal shaft and four-pronged head, fitted with a green composite D-style handle. The handle retains a blue, white, and red adhesive label reading TRUE TEMPER, QUALITY TOOLS, BRITISH MADE with a Union Jack motif, DIGGING FORK, and the number 91-002078. Both tools are marked with the handwritten identifier 7290 in black marker near the top of the handles.
