Lot 367: A Collection of Vintage Mirrored Glass and Gilt Picture Frames
A collection of vintage mirrored glass and gilt picture frames, featuring a variety of decorative finishes and frame profiles. The group includes a square photo frame with bevelled, layered mirrored glass borders and a central square aperture. Also present is a dark reflective acrylic or glass frame with a border of clear faceted crystal studs. A rectangular frame is finished with a wide border of black and silver crushed glass. The lot also includes a more traditional ornate gilt-finished frame with scrolling foliate and shell motifs. Other items include a large mahogany-toned wooden frame and various smaller composite frames in gold and dark tones. A white adhesive auction label is attached to the side of the cardboard box, printed with HCP Auctions South West, Lot 367, and the web address www.hcpauctions.co.uk. The box itself is marked with the number 9370 in large red marker.
