Lot 461: A Vintage Haden White Plastic Electric Jug Kettle
A vintage Haden white plastic electric jug kettle of classic upright form with a separate corded power base. The kettle is constructed from a white thermoplastic body featuring an integrated handle with a red power toggle switch situated at the top. A vertical transparent window is set into the side of the body to serve as a water level indicator, featuring red printed graduated markings for both LTR and PTS (litres and pints). Numerical markings on the gauge include 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 1.7 for litres, and 1/2, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, and 3 for pints, alongside MIN and MAX indicators. The lower side of the kettle bears the manufacturer’s name in raised white plastic lettering reading HADEN. The unit is equipped with a matching white power cord and a standard UK three-pin plug.
