A collection of vintage Cassell Illustrated card-bound reference books, comprising four comprehensive guidebooks from the 1001… Before You Die series. The group includes 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die edited by Steven Jay Schneider, 1001 Beers You Must Try Before You Die (Updated Edition) edited by Adrian Tierney-Jones, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die edited by Peter Boxall, and 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die edited by Robert Dimery. Each volume features flexible card wraps with glossy illustrated covers and uniform spine designs. A printed white stylised C logo appears at the top of each spine. The Movies volume bears a white rectangular adhesive label on the spine reading 3394 x4 in black ink, and a printed barcode on the reverse with ISBN 9781844036189. The books are housed in a brown cardboard shipping box bearing a black printed label with a barcode and characters reading K110PVERS and CB0012110POX.
