Lot 464: A Pair of Vintage Chrome and Teal Fabric Table Lamps
A pair of vintage chrome and teal fabric table lamps featuring a modern cylindrical form. Each lamp is constructed with a tall upright shade made from a light frame covered in a teal-coloured faux-suede or microfibre material. The shades feature a decorative integrated perforated dot design which reveals an internal gold-toned lining, intended to diffuse light through the circular openings. The cylindrical bodies are supported by integrated circular bases with a polished chrome finish. The lamps are equipped with UK three-pin plugs and inline thumb switches, though the power cords are mismatched with one finished in white and the other in black. A white rectangular adhesive label is present on one shade reading HCP Auctions South West / Lot 464 / www.hcpauctions.net, and the second lamp bears a white label with red borders reading Liskeard Auction Rooms / Lot 387 / www.liskeardauctionrooms.co.uk. A torn handwritten paper label on one base reads 286s / A PAIR OF TEAL / TABLE LAMPS. Both plugs feature green circular adhesive PAT test stickers marked PASSED and dated 29.5.24.
