Lot 538: An Assortment of Vintage Paragon Queen Anne and Liling Ceramic Tea Wares
An assortment of vintage Paragon, Queen Anne and Liling ceramic tea wares, comprising various bone china and porcelain trios and decorative items featuring floral and foliate motifs. The Paragon pieces consist of at least two tea trios crafted from bone china, decorated with a transfer-printed pattern of green vine leaves and small grey berry clusters finished with gilt rims. The base of these pieces (image 4) features a printed mark consisting of a black Royal Coat of Arms crest above red script reading ‘Paragon’, with ‘BONE CHINA’, the numerals ‘8 6 1’, and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ clearly visible. The Queen Anne bone china wares include a tea trio and a rectangular ring holder dish with a pale blue two-pronged support, all decorated in the ‘Queen Anne’ rose pattern with pink blooms and green foliage. The base of the cup (image 5) is marked with a printed crown icon above script reading ‘Queen Anne’, followed by ‘BONE CHINA’ and ‘ENGLAND’. The Liling porcelain pieces comprise at least two footed tea trios decorated with a border of stylized blue and grey flowers. The base of these cups (image 3) bears a green printed stamp featuring a stylized tree icon above the characters ‘中国醴陵’ and ‘MADE IN CHINA’.
