Also included is a Parker Black Prince ballpoint pen with a white plastic barrel and chrome-plated trim, housed in its original grey plastic presentation case embossed with the Parker brand name. A gold-toned mechanical pencil with a fine vertically ribbed engine-turned finish is presented in a separate black case with a red flocked interior. Additional items include a slim black and gold-toned ballpoint, a modern blue and chrome mechanical pencil, and a further slim black pen. A white adhesive auction label is present on one case reading HCP Auctions South West, Lot 613. The barrel of the white pen is printed with a shield logo and the characters BLACK PRINCE. The grey plastic case is embossed with the name PARKER in a rectangular field.
Condition report:
The Parker Black Prince ballpoint and the cased gold-toned pencil appear in good cosmetic condition (photo 1 and 2). The teal blue fountain pen shows visible surface scuffing and pocket wear to the brushed metal cap (photo 4). Significant ink staining is visible on the fingers handling the items in the photographs, which may indicate recent leakage from one or more instruments (photo 4). All internal filling mechanisms and lead advancement systems are untested.
