Lot 630: A Vintage Illuminated and Animated Christmas Village Tree Decoration
A vintage illuminated and animated Christmas village tree decoration. The piece is constructed from cast polyresin, fashioned into a conical evergreen tree structure featuring a multi-tiered winter village scene integrated into the branches. The integrated miniature village includes several alpine-style and timber-framed houses with internally illuminated windows, alongside various festive figures. A central recessed bay contains a horse-drawn sleigh, and the circular base is moulded with a cobblestone pattern. The entire piece is finished with iridescent glitter accents to simulate snow. Operation is via a mains-powered 3-pin UK plug adapter with a toggle switch located on the side of the base. A white adhesive label on the base reads HCP Auctions South West Lot 630 www.hcpauctions.net, and a circular sticker on the adapter reads QC PASSED. No manufacturer’s embossed or printed marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.

Condition report:
The item is in good, complete condition. A light accumulation of surface dust is visible within the crevices of the branches and buildings (photo 1 and 2). Typical minor loss of iridescent glitter is present throughout the snowy areas (photo 1). The internal lighting is functional as shown (photo 3), though the animated rotation and long-term electrical safety have not been tested.
