Lot 704: A Vintage Collection of Yellow and Silver-Tone Costume Jewellery
A vintage collection of yellow and silver-tone costume jewellery, featuring various necklaces, pendants, and accessory items. The lot incorporates a strand of iridescent faceted glass beads, a white mother-of-pearl style cross pendant, and a black heart-shaped pendant with a metal zipper motif. Also included is a gold-tone filigree cap tassel pendant with ball-tipped chains and a gold-tone filigree brooch set with four white navette-shaped stones. Other items include a circular yellow-tone watch case back, a textured stick pin, a small zodiac pendant, and loose amber-coloured stones. The jewellery is housed in a clear plastic container with a white adhesive label reading Lot No 8. There are no visible maker’s marks or metal purity hallmarks on any of the items.
Condition report:
Metal oxidation and surface scratches are visible throughout the collection, most notably on the yellow-tone chains (photo 1). Several chains appear tangled (photo 1). The iridescent glass beads show surface wear consistent with age (photo 2). The adhesive label on the plastic container shows minor wear (photo 1).
