Lot 722: A Set of Four miniature Vintage Wedgwood Whitefriars Grape and Vine Pattern Porcelain Cups and Saucers
A set of four Whitefriars vintage grape and vine pattern porcelain cups and saucers, each featuring a white glazed body decorated with a botanical transfer-printed motif. The pattern consists of trailing brown vines, serrated green leaves, and clusters of small purple grapes, where the colours remain vibrant and well-defined. The cups are of a cylindrical form with a slightly flared rim, supported by a short pedestal foot and finished with a distinctive angular handle. Both the cups and the circular saucers are embellished with a hand-applied gilt line to the rims, with additional gilt accents to the handles. The interiors of the cups are finished in a plain white glaze. All items contain the relevant backstamps.
