Lot 781: Vintage Panasonic 800W Countertop Microwave Oven
A vintage Panasonic 800W countertop microwave oven featuring a digital control panel and an internal glass turntable. The unit is finished with a white plastic exterior frame and a dark grey interior cavity. The digital interface includes an auto weight menu with dedicated settings for reheating curry, Chinese food, and pasta, as well as cooking jacket potatoes, fresh vegetables, and fish. Manual controls include buttons for micro power, time increments of ten minutes, one minute, and ten seconds, and a timer clock function. The manufacturer name Panasonic is printed in black to the top right of the control panel. A graphic at the base of the interface features three wavy lines above the text 800W and a square containing the letter E. The appliance bears white adhesive labels reading Lot 780 and www.hcpauctions.net.
Condition report:
The microwave exhibits significant yellowing and discolouration to the exterior plastic casing (photo 1). The interior cavity shows surface marks, staining, and areas of light corrosion and rusting, particularly along the front lower edge and near the door hinges (photo 2). The door glass is smudged and requires cleaning. This item is sold as seen and has not been tested for functional operation.
