Lot 918: A Vintage Brown Textured Fabric Electric Rise and Recline Armchair
A vintage electric rise and recline armchair upholstered in a brown textured chenille-style fabric. The chair features a three-pillow tiered backrest designed for lumbar and neck support, complemented by padded roll-top armrests and an integrated upholstered footrest. It is constructed with an internal motor-driven mechanism that facilitates both reclining and assisted standing functions. Operation is controlled via a wired two-button handset attached with a coiled power cable. The chair sits on a black metal base frame. A small white adhesive label on the front of the right armrest reads Lot 918 HCP Auctions North West. The handset features a line of printed white text above the buttons, although the characters are not legible as a manufacturer name. Several additional small white adhesive labels are present on the upper surfaces of the backrest and armrests.

Condition report:
The armchair is in good, used condition. The upholstery appears generally clean with no significant stains, tears, or fraying visible across the main seat and armrest areas (photo 1). There is minor surface lint and light signs of use consistent with age (photo 2). The padding in the tiered backrest shows slight compression from use (photo 3). The electrical handset and coiled power cord appear intact; however, the mechanical and electrical functions have not been tested.
