Lot 930: A Pair of Mid-Century Beech Side Chairs
A pair of mid-century side chairs, constructed from a light-toned wood, likely beech, with a clear lacquered finish. The chairs are characterized by rounded, tapered legs and structural rails utilizing dowel and mortise-and-tenon joinery. Each chair features a single wide, steam-bent curved backrest splat with a distinctive central pierced four-leaf clover motif. The fixed padded seats are upholstered in a floral tapestry-style woven fabric, depicting stylized flowers and paisley foliage in shades of pink, orange, green, and blue.
