Lot 952: A Vintage Solid Pine Eight-Drawer Chest of Drawers
A vintage solid pine eight-drawer chest of drawers, featuring a two-column configuration. The unit is arranged in four tiers, with each tier comprising a wider drawer to the left and a narrower drawer to the right. It is constructed from solid pine with a clear-varnished finish, highlighting the natural wood grain and knots throughout. Each drawer is fitted with matching turned pine knob handles. The chest is supported by a simple plinth base with short turned feet. A circular adhesive child’s reward sticker is affixed to the upper-left drawer front, featuring a lion illustration and text reading ‘I was as brave as a lion today!’. A small white rectangular label with the handwritten lot number ‘952’ is present on the top right corner. Internal drawer joinery is not visible.
