Lot 169: H. T. Jackson & Son Metal Travel Trunk
A mid-20th-century metal travel trunk or footlocker manufactured by H. T. Jackson & Son of Leeds. The storage trunk is constructed from sheet metal with a black painted exterior and a mint green enamel interior finish. The front is fitted with three brass-toned latches, comprising a central lock plate and two outer flip latches. Black-painted metal swing handles are mounted to each side for transport. A rectangular paper label is affixed to the centre of the interior lid, featuring printed text reading H. T. JACKSON & SON positioned above a small orange graphic of a suitcase and the word LEEDS positioned below.
