Lot 192: A Pair of Scalloped Shell-Form Cast Stone Garden Urns
A pair of cast stone garden urns, each designed with a deeply scalloped rim evocative of a shell form. The bowls have a granular, textured exterior and are supported by pedestals featuring fluted, foliate-style relief work. The pedestals taper down to integral hexagonal bases. The items are constructed from a light buff-coloured reconstituted stone. No marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the surfaces of the urns or their bases. One bowl features a central circular depression in the interior floor.
