The unit consists of a blue plastic open reel mounted onto a black tubular metal carry frame with a manual winding handle and integrated cable guide. The central faceplate features four UK three-pin 13 amp sockets and an integrated thermal cut-out with a red reset button. A grey adhesive label on the central faceplate is printed with a stylized blue and white M logo and the maker name masterplug alongside the brand name WORKPOWER. The label includes the printed specifications 45m Cable Reel, 13 amps, 4 SOCKETS, and 45m CABLE. A warning box states DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE LOAD 720W/240V – FULLY WOUND 3120W/240V – FULLY UNWOUND DO NOT USE WHEN WET PLUG FUSE 13 AMP. Certification and standard markings at the base of the label are readable as BSEN61242, CE, T4513, 240V, and a BSI Kitemark with Lic No.940.
