Lot 245: A Reconstituted Stone Garden Urn on Pedestal Base
A reconstituted stone garden urn on pedestal base, featuring high relief classical decoration. The circular bowl is designed with a wide, flared rim and four large scroll-form handles that connect the rim to the mid-section. The exterior of the bowl is heavily embellished with a continuous frieze of foliate scrolls, floral motifs, and decorative crests. The urn is supported by a waisted pedestal base with acanthus leaf carvings, terminating in a solid square plinth. The interior floor of the bowl shows a central drainage hole. The cast stone construction has a sandy texture and shows natural weathering from outdoor use.
