A cast stone garden bench with figurative squirrel supports. The bench features a rectangular slab seat designed with a naturalistic faux bois or log-effect texture, exhibiting simulated bark-effect edges and a rough-hewn top surface. It is supported by two substantial legs, each in the form of a squirrel sitting upright on its haunches, perched upon a square pedestal base. The sides of the pedestals are decorated with a relief-moulded floral or foliate motif. The squirrels bushy tails curve upward to provide additional support for the underside of the seat. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the surfaces shown.
