Lot 503: A Collection of Decorative Ceramics and Metalware including Royal Adderley and Bath Pewter
An assortment of decorative ceramic and metal objects. The collection features an English bone china floral ornament by Royal Adderley, displaying hand-painted polychrome blossoms. The underside of the piece is marked with a printed brown device consisting of a crown above the words Royal Adderley, FLORAL, BONE CHINA, and MADE IN ENGLAND, alongside an impressed mark reading 178. Also included is an octagonal white ceramic bowl with a reticulated lattice rim, decorated with hand-painted pink and blue flowers; the base bears a handwritten script in brown reading Athel lily. The metalware includes a commemorative Bath Pewter coaster housed in its original blue presentation box, which features an interior lid printed with the text A commemorative coaster in Bath Pewter, 1952 1977, and To mark the Silver Jubilee of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II. Further items consist of a brass-toned saucer-base candlestick with a looped handle, a shallow ceramic charger decorated with a bird on a bamboo branch in metallic gold and silver tones, two circular trinket boxes with floral-decorated lids, a small porcelain plate with a central metal medallion depicting a Japanese carriage, and a small ceramic floral wall ornament.
