Lot 545: A Set of Six Gilt and Etched Glass Stemmed Aperitif Glasses
A set of six clear glass stemmed vessels of cylindrical form, tapering slightly towards a short, plain stem and a circular foot. The decoration consists of white etched foliate sprays and vertical bar motifs arranged around the bowl. The rim is finished with a gilt band, and a further decorative gilt band encircles the base of the bowl, featuring a repeating Vitruvian scroll pattern. No maker marks, signatures, or manufacturer labels are visible on any of the pieces in the set.
